Trim Restoration Surfaces:
Applicable surfaces include windshield cowls, door molding, door handles, bumpers, wiper arms, mirror trim, roof racks, running boards, mud flaps, cowl vents, window trim, and window seals.
How long will a trim restoration last?
Longevity is generally rated at 2 years of daily usage highly dependent on vehicle usage, age, environment aspects, ownership use, maintenance and pre existing condition.
GTechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer
We are great fans of GTechniq c4 which molecularly bonds and restores to original “like-new” appearance. It is a 3S nano composite coating that is optically thin clear film without overly changing the surface.
Appearance: Glossy, Like New Surface.
Restoration Factor: High

C.A.R Industries Bulletproof
For newer vehicles we love to use C.A.R. Industries Bulletproof Coating since it offers a layer able “sealed” shine on the surface while offering special nano glass particle protection.
Appearance: Semi-Gloss, Factory New Surface.

When can you perform a Trim Restoration?
Either New Car or Restoration Treatment. We suggest adding the service to our speciality restoration paint correction treatments or new car treatments. Application preparation is essential, we use the correct all purpose cleaner, solvent cleaners, alcohol stripping agents, and trim prep chemicals to properly set a base for the trim treatment.
Extra Trim Restoration Information
- We generally always avoid dyes, colorants, and silicones.
- Results can vary: There are many different types of trim on the market, results can vary at times dependent on what each OEM manufacturer offers or the longterm degradation of the surface. We like to think of a trim restoration as a long term dressed surface.
- We cannot repair trim that is missing, scratched, or beyond physical repair.
- Treatments need a minimum of 24 hours to cure to elements (water, chemicals, etc)
- Surfaces can be retouched after 2 years of usage to prolong appearances
