Liquid Finish Detailing: Policies, Terms, & Conditions

Before you appointment please take note of a few policies. As a low volume customer oriented business these points really help ensure we survive to maintain your vehicle!
 
Items
Please remove personal belongings from all compartments, we are not liable for any item during the appointment.  Items left in the vehicle will be set aside for cleaning.  Additional fees may apply for excessive clutter.
 
Billing
Cash, Check (Liquid Finish Detailing LLC), or PayPal Invoice. Pay due in full at pickup or some pre-arranged confirmed method (ie. Online Invoice).
 
Appointments
Please let us know if any changes occur before 24 hours of your appointment, we will try our best to reschedule you. A backlog may exist due to previously scheduled customers.
 
Sorry, we are not a tire shop that can simply fit in appointments in random slots. We are more of a surgical shop that carefully performs rejuvenations at set appointments.
 
Cancellations (Rain!)
Less than 24 hour notice cancellations will require a $50 non refundable deposit to reschedule. Rain is inevitable, please let us know immediately if you want to reschedule! Sorry, no rain checks!
 
Deposits
Coating deposits maybe required to reserve your appointment and cover costs of product.
 
Fees/Notices
$25 storage fee each day past expected agreed pre arranged pickup time. 
$25 fee bounced check
$10-25 Pickup/Delivery charge will be charged for some vehicle transportations
Delivery charges may apply for pickup at odd hours (before 8am, or past 6pm). 
Additional fees may apply for: excessive clutter, biohazard cleaning, excessive dirt, etc. Client will be notified immediately. 
 
Damage
We are not liable for the electronic or mechanical functions of any vehicle, there is very limited exposure from detailing processes that can affect a vehicle.
We care deeply for your vehicle. For any damage to the vehicle please give us a chance to make it right within reason.
 
Protection Warranty
We cannot guarantee how long wax or protectants last as there is no meter in the world that measures durability.
 
Waldo
The “Waldo Effect”: It is common as we polish, clean, wax, or work on your vehicle that deeper unseen preexisting flaws may appear such as deep scratches, etching, paint chips, paint marring, and water spots. Ie. A deep scratch in a wear tear spot may become more noticeable post wash process. 
 
Perfection
Perfect cannot be achieved and is a very broad term. Our job is to make your car super shiny with integrity and the desire to make you happy.. 
 
BioHazard
Biological hazards including but not limited to blood, urine, feces, vomit, bodily fluid, etc. MUST be disclosed prior to work being started.  Significant additional charges will be applied when dealing with biological contamination post estimate process. 
 
Estimates
Estimates are an educated guess of time, materials, and labor.  Every vehicle and customer presents different variables that we cannot control (pet hair, spills, odors, biohazard, etc.). Vehicles in significantly worse condition than at prior assessment or consultation before appointment will have extra charges.
 
Services Changes
Changes in time/cost can occur during the detailing process, we will do our best to notify you with estimate of extra work so you can confirm a new process/service item. 
 
Some services cannot do everything for a neglected vehicle. A “Mini Maintenance” is not designed to restore a neglected vehicle. A minor polish service does not take every swirl, etch or defect in the paint.
